THE ART OF BEADSTRINGING

In this three week course students will
learn about semi-precious stones and various types of findings,
and how to create beautiful jewelry projects. Topics covered
will include: crimping and wire wrapping, knotting techniques,
clasps, toggles for closures and even handmade hooks. Students
will make sets of bracelets and matching earrings. There are
endless possibilities for styles, colors and designs using
the techniques presented. No previous experience is required.
Materials and beading components & tools may be purchased
from the instructor.

This one-day workshop will cover all aspects
of high end bead stringing including: types of beads, sources
of beads, styles of stringing, tools and findings, knotting
and finishing. Students will design and construct their own
necklace using high quality howlite, black onyx, rose quartz
or hematite beads. The instructor will also have a wide variety
of fine quality beads available for purchase.
$165 for members / $190 for non-members

Students with previous beading experience
will enjoy this advanced one-day workshop, which will focus
on making high-end bead projects of their own design. The
instructor will assist students with methods and finishing
techniques. Students can bring in whatever projects they have
in mind (including broken necklaces) for evaluation and advice.
High quality beads and supplies will be available for purchase.
